Explore our processThe successful professional cyclist Matej Mohorič dropped by during his training for a short visit.
Matej has been cycling since 2014, when he first started pedalling at the Kranj Cycling Club. His outstanding results were even noticed by two professional continental teams from outside Slovenia, Cannondale and Lampre Merida. He has cycled for the Bahrain Merida team since 2018. Since 2016, he has participated in all three three-week races – the Giro d‘Italia, Vuelta and Tour de France – winning a stage in each race. He also won the Milano-San Remo classic and, this year, the Tour of Croatia.
Mohorič sets an example for younger generations of cyclists, including members of the Kranj Cycling Club, which Domel has supported for many years.
In a chat over a cup of coffee, as he checked out our eco-bike, Mohorič explained that he owns an electric bicycle himself, as do many of his friends and family. He views e-mobility as a positive direction and trend, and agrees that our CULT-bike is the way to go.
We appreciate his coming by to talk to us, and will proudly display his jersey at our headquarters.

Read articleAs the world pivots towards a greener future, rare earth elements (REEs) and magnets have emerged as essential components in the energy transition. They are crucial for technologies like electric vehicles, wind turbines, and clean hydrogen solutions. However, the EU's dependence on imports for 90% of its REEs highlights a pressing need for local expertise and innovation. With recycling rates for REEs currently below 5%, there is a significant opportunity for growth and development in this area.
